Alex Taylor: What challenges made you search for this kind of software?
Cheng Xu: To finish a large virtual commissioning project for Daimler, we required a special software named “WINMOD”. However, we did not have enough hardware license keys for this software, so we had to “borrow” some from our German parent company that had plenty of licenses for “WINMOD”. For that, we required a reliable software solution that would share these license dongles over the network.
Alex Taylor: How did you get to know about our software?
Cheng Xu: We found out about USB over Ethernet from our German colleagues.
Alex Taylor: Did you try any similar product(s) before coming across ours?
Cheng Xu: No, we started using USB over Ethernet right away.
Alex Taylor: Why did you choose our product over competitors? What made it stand out for you?
Cheng Xu: USB over Ethernet is very convenient to use and the HMI is very nice. We tested the software with our German colleagues and the trial version worked flawlessly. We are sure that your software will help us a lot with the upcoming projects.
Alex Taylor: How did you benefit from using our solution?
Cheng Xu: Thanks to your software we can access some very specific license dongles from our German parent company, and it saves a lot of money for us. If not your software, we would have to purchase lots of additional expensive license dongles.
Alex Taylor: Are you happy with our software at this point? Why or why not?
Cheng Xu: Yes, we were extremely busy with our project and we would not have finished it in time if we didn’t have USB over Ethernet.
Alex Taylor: Do you feel our prices are: high – about right – low?
Cheng Xu: The price is about right. It is much lower compared to the licenses that we needed to use.
Alex Taylor: Has our customer support system met your needs?
Cheng Xu: I believe your customer support system is very efficient and the assistance will be provided just in time when needed.
